ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
PRISONER'S SUDDEN DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A prisoner at Mt. Eden ga-01, named Andrew Hutchinson, aged about 29 years, died in the ambulance while being conveyed to the hospital last night. He was in gaol awaiting sentence at the next sitting of the Supreme Court on a charge of forging and uttering valueless cheques. He had been suffering from consumption for some time, but as his condition grew worse last night it was decided to send him to. the hospital, but he died on the way.
