TARAHUA CLUB. The following were the four best cards returned in the St. George's Cross match on Saturday on the Taraliua Club's links:— G. Chong 90 18 72 W. Berridge 105 21 84 W. G. Douglas 103 18 85 R. H. Baily 97 12 85 Mr. J. McCormick, professional golf coach, is coming to New Plymouth next 'month to put in two weeks' coaching on the Taraliua links. Latest advice from Mr. McCormick was that, he was exceptionally busy coaching on the Hutt links. In a match with the old coach of that club, lie proved the winner by 4 up and 3 to play. While on the Hutt links he also did the nine holes in 37, and that after a couple of "silly little putts."
