I A Sydney cablegram states that, at Rosehill on Saturday, the Rosehill Hurdle Handicap was won by the New Zealander Pakau, Dunloe was .second, | and Lodestar third. Six horses started,, [and Pakau won by six lengths. Time, 3min 54y 2 sec.

The Flying Handicap at Rosehill on Saturday was won by Barley Waiter. The ex-New Zealander Blackpool was second, and Sylvander third. Twentyone horses started, and Barley Water | won by a neck. Time, lmin 15% sec. 1 At the Melbourne Amateur Turf Club's meeting on Saturday the New Zealand horse Wimmera won the hurdle race. Bullawarra was second and Destinist third. Thirteen horses started.
