King and Shipman handled the bowling. Bardsley pulled 'the liftli ball and was easily caught at short leg bv Knight. He hit six fours. The partnership added 79. Gregory and Kelleway saw the 200 hoisted in 150 minutes. Gregory played a ball from King on to his wicket. Minnett and Matthews did not last long.
