A rather extraordinary case of inherited malformation has occurred on the property of Mr. John Smith, of Alfredton. A few years back a calf was horn with a swallow earmark. This calf has developed into a cow which has produced a calf with an exactly similar earmark. Such cases have previously been heard of, but they are exceedingly rare.
