NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. To-day's match is a bogey handicap for a prize presented by Mr. J. Paton. Ixist Saturday's match resulted in an easy win by 8 games to 4 for the married men, who, in many cases, secured fairly easy victories over their single opponents. The day wa.s a perfect golfing one, and in that respect was a delightful change from the wet and windy ones that have been experienced for so long previously. In the play-off for the St. Andrew's Cross tie between E. S. Bayley and A. IT. Steeds, the former won by one stroke. On Thursday afternoon, the second competition in connection with the Medley Cup was played, but in consequence of the high southerly wind prevailing the scores were not good.
