RECORD PRICE FOR A COW PAID. The sale of Mr. Thos. Linnts pedigree Jursej-s, conducted by Mr. Xuwton King at Fair View, Mangatoki, oil Thursday, , attracted a large attendance. Mr. Linn's ; reputation for breeding high-class stock 3 is well known, and practically all the , principal breeders of the North Island r and some from the South Island, were rej presented at the sale. Bidding through- ' out the Afternoon was very 'brisk, and . high prices were realised. The highest . price paid for one animal was 155 guineas, t'lut being the amount given by : Mr. R. J.
