CYCLING.

The Rovers Cycle Club's thirty milei cycle road race, to Inglewood and back, attracted twelve starters yesterday af- I ternoon. The placed men finished in the ' following order:—L. E. Smith, scr., 1; V./ Gunson, 7min., 2; D. James, 7min., 3.' The time taken was lhr. 43min. There was half a minute between the first, second and third-men. The fastest time was l'lir. 43sec. The roads were in fair order, but the wind militated against fast times. May and Rnsitli each secure three points, Lobb and Gunson two points each, James and Tapp one point each, towards the Club's cup prize, awarded for the most points during the season in road racing.
