EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. _ One of the star attractions at the Empire to-night is a lengthy dramatic masterpiece by the famous Nordisk Company, "The Ballet Dancer." The film is 3000 ft in length, the story strong in dramatic force, and admirably interpreted by the Nordisk players. It concerns the lives of Camille Fiavier, a beautiful young actress, Jean Mayol, a playwright, and his friend, Paul Rich, an artist. Love and beauty figure prominently throughout the film. Another star film is the beautiful Vitagraph production, "Playmates, " showing the splendid friendship and devotion of a faithful dog for his little master. "Jean," the Vitagraph dog, proves steadfast i'a sickness and in health, and the picture is a beautiful film that no patron can afford to miss. The Selig Company is represented with another of their detective features, "The Hypnotic Detective." Pathe's London Gazette iaeludes much of an interesting nature, and "Jack Tar amuses his friends" is a a unique and entertaining novelty picture. The well-known Vitagraph comedian, John Bunny, figures in an amusing comedy, "Bunny and the Twins."
