COST OF LIVING.
To the Editor. Sir,—What is the reason that the above commission has overlooked examining chemists as to their exorbitant charges? The working man with a family cannot get clear of the chemist, and the excessive charges they make are dreaded more than the 'doctor's bill. Don't you think the time has come when the State should step in and either run a State dispensary or tax the profits of chemists?—l am, etc., PATERFAMILIAS.
