Judgment has been reserved for a week. A RECORD VOYAGE. Sydney, July 15. A wireless message from the Oceanic Company's steamer Sonoma reports that she is making a record journey across the Pacific. THE RAYNER TRAGEDY. Received 15, 9.10 p.m. •Sydney, July 15. At the inquest on Phillips, evidence was given that Phillips declared on the day of the tragedy that Rayner had some jewellery belonging to him. If she did not return it he would swing for her.
