DAIRY PRODUCE..

GOOD PROSPECTS'. Mr. Geo. H. Buckeridge, New Zealand representative for Messrs. Henry A. Lane and Co., Ltd., of London, received the following cablegram yesterday morning- from liis principals:— New Zealand cheese market quiet, G6s to 07s per cwt; Canadian spot market, 04s to 05s. Cable advices are that the market is active at higher prices. Canadian production cannot increase over last year. Butter: Market firm, with hardening tendency. From the above cablegram it may be gathered that the rumours recently in circulation to the effect that' the cheese market was unstable were not founded on a substantial basis. The fact that the export supply from Canada is not likely to be increased, but will probably be decreased, will be hailed as good news by New Zealand cheesemakers, and points the probability of prices remaini ing on the present high level.
