Ambury's sale is attracting large numbers, of people to the centre of ithe town. The windows are studies in "red and white." The prices are as striking as the bright windows, and the numerous lines at half the usual .price should pause a tremendous clearance. The firm reports having had a good season, and large shipments of spring goods on the water, and any oddments" of winter goods have to go regardless of cost.
