Scotland was continued at Glasgow. \ The local bowling was very destructive, the Australians being dismissed for 152. In their second innings Scotland had lost one wicket for 20 when rain interfered and stumps were drawn. Scores:— Scotland.—First innings 289. PLAYERS. Received 14, 5.5 p.m. London, July 13. The weather was dull but the attendance large when the match was continued. Scotland, in their second in- ] nings, with the score at seven for 126, de-1 clared their innings closed. Matthews ] took seven, wickets for 46, Macartney none for 33, Whitty none for 12, Kelleway none for 25. The Australians replied with 200 for the loss of three wickets —Jennings 28, Mayne 85, Macartney 8, Bardsley (not out) 70, Minnett (not out) 0. The match was drawn. A BIG SCORE. London, July 12. Yorkshire made 543 against Kent, Denton contributing 221. In the Gentlemen v. Players match, the Gentlemen scored 360, and the Players 378 (J. W. Hearne, not out, 123). '
