RATES 1912-13. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the County of Taranaki intends, at a meeting to be held at 11 a.m. on MONDAY, the sth day of August, 1912, at the County Chambers, Robe street, New Plymouth, to make and levy, under the provisions of sections 117, 118 and 119 "Counties) Act, 1908," section 48, "Rating Act, 1908," section 3, "Rating Amendment Act, 1910," and section 41 "Hospital and Charitable.,. Institutions Act, 1909," General and. Hospital Rates within each of the ridings of the County of Taranaki as particularised hereunder.-
MOA RIDING.-A General Rate of threefarthingsin the pound over the area of the; Moa Road District, a General of six-farthings in the pound over the outlying district compris* ing the aieas, of the late Waiwakaiho, Mangorei and Henui Road Districts and portion of Fitzroy Town District; and'a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound over the whole Riding., WAITARA RIDING.—A General Rate of three-farthings in the pound over the area of Waitara West Rdad District, a General Rate of six farthings in the pound over the outlying district (recently under the jurisdiction of the Egmont Road Board), and a Hospital Rate of onetwelfth of a penny in the pound over the whole of the riding. OMATA RIDING.—A General Rate of five-farthings in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound. OKATO RIDING.-A General Rate of three-farthings in the pound over the areas of the Tataraimaka, Okato and Werekino Road Districts, a General Rate of six-farthings in the pound over the outlying district (recently under the jurisdiction of the Oakura Road Board), and a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound over the whole riding;' HURWORTH RIDING.-A General Rate of one penny in the pound, and a Hospital Rate of one-twelfth of a penny in the pound. Such rates to be calculated on the capital value of all rateable property within the County of Taranaki, and to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1912, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1913, and to be payable in one instalment at the office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe street, New Plymouth, on the 4th day of September, 1912, where the Rate Books, containing particulars' of the above rates, may be inspected during office hours.
