A CURIOUS DEATH. By Telegraph—Pre** Association. Gisborne, Friday. At the inquest on Joseph Denton, an old man, who died suddenly at Poriawa, the jury returned a verdict that deceased died from a foreign body, probably a piece of decayed tooth or shell from the beach double the size of a pin's head, which had lodged in the right lung, causing stoppage of the respiratory process. The jury expressed the opinion that the foreign "matter was probably inhaled while deceased was employed on the stone crusher. GORED BY A BULL. Nelson, Last Night. George Leonard, a visitor from Blenheim, was badly gored by a bull. He was knocked down and trampled on, and is being takci to the hospital. His injuries are not vet known.
