TURKEY'S SERIOUS POSITION'. By Cable —Press Association—Copyripkt. London, July 11. Several European newspapers comment on the gravity of the situation in Turkey. Shevket Pasha resigned because the artillery refused to light the Albanians. The Albanian revolt is threatening to develop into a general movement against the, Government and the Committe of Progress. Other reasons are the dragging on of .the Italian war and the discontent and intrigue in Constantinople. Shevket failed to purge the army of politicians.
