NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. Yesterday afternoon the first match for Mr. Medley's cup was played. Owing to the bad weather there were only nine competitors, and the best cards handed in were as follows:

Mrs. Good, and Miss Parsons qualified. Mrs. Ts-ard won the medal handicap with 103—20—53. Mrs. Paton returned 121—10—102. Tn ( the fourtecn-hole bogey handicap, played in the afternoon, Miss Brewster was the I winner with 5 down.
