Mr. S. B. White is seriously ill. Visitors to New Plymouth include Councillors !•'. Birch and Wm. Carr, of the Blenheim Borough Council. Mr. Keith, manager of the petroleum works at Moturoa, is confined to his home with a severe cold and an attack of bronchitis. Mr. J. Austin, manager of the New Plymouth Sash and Door Company, is now convalescent after a serious illness. It will he some two weeks or so before he will be about again. Mr/ H. Deidrichsen, who came to New 'Zealand as musical director for tlhe. Brough-Boncicault Company, died in Sydney last week (says..a Press Association telegram from Christchurch). He was conductor of Williamson companies for several years, subsequently settling in Christchurch, taking the position of conductor of one of the picture theatres there.
