FIRES.
FIRE AT EKETAHUNA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Eketahuna, Tuesday. A six-roomed house at Parkyille, owned by C. Schultz, was hurncd last night. A quantity of furniture was saved. The fire started in a bedroom where a light was left burning for the children. The insurances were: Oil the house, £3OO in the State Office; on the furniture, £2OO in the Standard Oiffce. CONFLAGRATION' IN DUNEDIN. Dunedin, Last Night. A four-roomed house at Ravensboyirrife, owned and 1 occupied by Emily Hennig, was totally destroyed by fire this afternoon. Only a little furniture was saved. The occupants were all awav at the time. The house was insured for £2OO and the furniture for £75 in the "Hew Zealand office.
