The Meteorological Department published the following weather summary j and forecast at 5 p.m.: —Summary: A westerly low pressure area passed on Saturday, and moderate to strong southerly winds, with cold and showery weather, continued generally until Sunday morning, when clearer weather prevailed in most parts of the country. The barometer has fallen everywhere to-day. Forecast: Present indications are for freshening northerly winds, with increasing haze and cloudiness; more unsettled weather soon, and the barometer falling evr rvwhere.
