THE INEVITABLE FATALITIES. Bj Cable—Pre-* Association —Copyright. New York, July 5. The usual crop of fatalities followed the Fourth of July celebrations. Hundreds of persons are in the hospitals throughout the country as the result of injuries by crackers and bomba. A balloonist named Moore, when making a parachute ascent during a celebration at Xew Jersey, was killed by falling 10,000 feet. An inter-urban car at Talsa, Oklahtana, laden with a hundred picnickers, collided with another. Five were killed and many injured. A motor cycle ran amok at Salt Lake City, killed the rider, and dashed into a crowd of spectators at the motordrome, injuring seven. Automobile collisions and capsizings were numerous, causing many deaths. A negro celebration at Chicago in honor of Johnson's victory ended in » riot. The police charged and effected numerous arrests. Received 7. 5.5 p.m. Xew York, July 6. The Corning disaster death roll is 41. Thirteen are unidentified, being badly mutilated. The Engineer. Scliroeder. went insane after the collision. There was another collision at Latrobe, Pennsylvania, a passenger train being telescoped by a freight train which was following. Eighteen were killed. One passenger only escaped injury.
