NATIVES RAID EUROPEAN PLANTATIONS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 5, 7.25 p.m. Suva, July 5. The natives of the Tai Levu district, discontented at the amount of their lease rents, invaded European planta tions, carrying off the banana crops and destroying the plants. Many arrests were effected. Matters are now quiet, and the offenders, except four ringleaders, have been released.
