There was ;i miscellaneous selection, including ollill bales of New Zealand. The attendance was very large, and competition animated. Fine crossbreds were 10 per cent, above the closing rates of the May .sales; medium to fine, up to 7 Vi per cent, increase, due to American competition: coarse, par to 5 per cent, advance, due to the Home demand; merinos, firm. Sellers favor sales being arranged to last till August 2, but the lahor troubles are likely to cause a considerable eurtainlment. Consols, 70. Copper. £7O 17s Od to £77 15s; electrolytic, '.-£Bl.
