At the annual meeting of the National Bank of Xew Zealand the chairman stated that the Dominion was prosperous, but urged caution on the part of the Government and traders. He advocated that a restriction of borrowing would be beneficial. The meeting approved of an increase in the capital. Though no immediate issue was contemplated, the increase was necessary owing to the Dominion's growing requirements.
