Tvt v SI-j!-VARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Presß Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—Summary.—The barometer is still very high everywhere, with cool ami fair to' cloudy weather generally. The winds have been light and variable. Forecast.—Present indications are for freshening northerly winds, with increasing haze and cloudiness generally. There are indications for a decided decrease in the barometer pressure soon, especially in the south.
