THE NORTH ISLAND TEAM. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The selection committee, Messrs. V. Meredith (Wellington), D. Gallagher (Auckland), and I). Malone (Taranaki), this evening selected the following team to represent the North Island in the annual inter-Island Rugby football match, to be played at Napier, on July ] 12:—Full-back, O'Leary (Auckland); 'three-quarters, Sto'hr (Taranaki), Roberts (Taranaki), McGregor (Auckland); five-eighths, Kaipara (Poverty Bay), McKenzie (Wellington); half, E. Roberts (Wellington); wing forward, J. Hall (Auckland); forwards, Sellars (Auckland), Cain (Taranaki), Downing (Hawke's Bay), Young (Taranaki), A. Wilson (Wellington), Dustin (Wanganui), Bruce (Auckland). A TEAM SUSPENDED. Dunedin, Tuesday. The Rugby Union, on the chairman's casting vote, suspended for the rest of the season Port Chalmers third 1 team for undesirable behaviour both before and after their game with Zingari at •Sawyer's Bay. The following will represent Tukapa seniors against Stratford to-morrow afternoon on Western Park at 2 p.m.:— White, McGiven, Whitaker (2), Webster, Stohr, Brown, Jull, Smith, Harvey, Ward, Oakes, Davidson, Morshead, and Blyde. The following will represent Star juniors in their match against Inglewood at New Plymouth at 3 p.m. tomorrow : Harvey, Jones, Tunbridge, Connelly, Mason, James, Gleeson, James, Crockett, Bullot, Clark, Lowe, McGahey, Plumb, Barlow, Page, Johnstone. The following will represent Okato against Fitzroy at New Plymouth on Saturday:— H. Corbett, Wero, Anderson, Rua, Malone, Turner, E. Andrews, P. Hawkins, Barney, Charlie, Drader, R. Julian, J. O'Sullivan. The following will represent Tukapa first juniors against Stratford at Stratford to-morrow, the team leaving by the 12.50 train:—Julian, Morey, West, Martin, StohT, Loveridge, Wai Opai, Tuohy, Wiley.
