Pending recovery from the late drought, pastoralists are disinclined to buy high-priced animals. The top figure to-day was 200gs. Mr. Furnie Giles, a New Zealander, paid 125gs. and 50gs. respectively for two Nardry rains. The offerings of British breeds are the smallest for seventeen years. Mr. John Nixon, New Zealand, paid 13%gs. for a Lincoln ram. Mr. Dowthwaite's Borders, and W. and J. Nixon's English and Border Leicester ram lambs and hoggets ranged from 2V 2 gs. to 4gs. Mr. Ensor's Corriedale (lock rams brought 3gs.
