The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency' Company, Ltd., have received the following .cablegram from their London. house 1 under date June' 28: —Frozen is a moderate demand fot mutton. The 'inquiry J for lamb.4s goodj and the market is steady for beef. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received cable advice from their .London office under date June 27 in regard to the following markets:—Frozen Meat.—* The (market is "weak. Since our last cablegram prices for lamb are %d per lb lower, mutton y a & per'lb lower, and beef "J4d to y ß d per lb lower. It is expected that any change in prices that takes place will be in favor of buyers. Tallow. —Since our last cable prices are 3d per cwt. higher, but the market remains quiet. Wool Sales.—ln regard to the series opening on July 2, everythingpossible, is being done to carry out the programme arranged, "but it is feared that, owing to the continuation of the istrike, it may be'impossible to do so. The market is, very firm,, especially for merinos. Messrs. Andrew Clement and Sons (Mr. R. W. D Robertson, local agent) have received the following market report, under date, London, Juno 27. Butter.-Salted, 112s; unsalled, 114s. ■ Market quiet. Cheese.—White, 70sj colored, 70s. Market quiet.
