Further to the simgesM l hockey match between Auckland and Taranaki representatives, the secretary of the Northern Association has telegraphed Wednesday, July 17, as a suitable date, and Hawera the venue. As the Taranaki Association is offering a generous guarantee of expenses, there is little doubt that -the match will pome off at Hawera on the date suggested.
