DOMINION MADE PIPES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Chrnicle understands that, at the request of some of the principals connected with the oil wells companies, the Spiral Steel Pipe Company has made experiments with a view to making their pipes suitable for oil-boring purposes. This has been done with successful results, =o much- so that these pipes of Dominion manufacture will be obtainable at a very large reduction on what has hitherto been paid for imported pipes, probably 30 per cent. loss. This' will, no doifht, greatly facilitate the prosecution of the oil well boring industry in the Dominion.
