SCHOOL COMMITTEES

Additional school committee election results are to hand: —■ .MOHAKAU. Nobody attended at Mohakau, but Messrs. W. K. Jonas and A. J. Stockley have been nominated as commissioners. POHOKURA. Only three attended' the meeting at Pohokura, and so no committee was elected. HURIMOANA. The following committee was elected: Messrs. M. Slattery (chairman), W. B. West, E. Curten. J. Bennett, and J. Ostler (secretary). TAHORA. There was an attendance of only four at Tahora. namely, Messrs. W. Hallett, W. Bowers, F. Rogers and R. Kennedy. They were duly elected, Mr. Hallett being appointed chairman and secretary, and Mr. Bowers treasurer. The committee recommends that Mr. G. Graham be appointed to the vacant seat.
