Petane Hack Steeplechase, of 110 sovs; about two miles.—l Tyrannic 1, 7 Pukeroa 2, 2 Longboat 3. 3 The Chief and Wirihana (bracketed), 9 Whimper, 4 Don Carlos, 6 Pararahei, 8 Wheturangi, and 5 Quandary also started. A RACEHORSE STOLEN.

Auckland, Yesterday. The racing mare Soultoria was stolen last night from stables at Pukekohet The footprints were traced 'to a spot where apparently a gig had*been waiting. Soultoria was led behind the vehicle.
