Instead of rows of victims in the Poplar Hospital he found only seven, and the house surgeon had stated that assaults Were fewer during the strike than at any other time. The London Strike Committee has resolved to telegraph to the international trades organisations in Australia, America and Germany for loans and support. A DELEGATE SHOT. London, June 25. A fireman named Dove was charged at North Woolwich with shooting Holford, a delegate of the Seaman's Union. Holford tried to prevent Dove going to work and struck him in the face. Dove fired a revolver to frighten Holford. shooting him in the foot.
