SCHOOL COMMITTEES
HOUSEHOLDERS' MEETINGS. On Monday, householders' meetings were held in a number of school districts which failed to elect committees on the annual date appointed for the purpose. 80 far the following reßultß hare come to kand:— TARIXX Nine householders attended at Tariki when the following committee was elected:—Messrs. Therkleson, Fenwick, D. Blanchard, and Crossman. Mrs. Jemi»on was appointed secretary. WAITARA. There were only about three present at Waitara, consequently no committee was elected. OKATO. \ Only two attended at Okato and so no committee was elected. Messrs. J. Wooldridge and llickford were nominated as commissioners.
