Mr. Gosling, at a meeting in Hyde Park, eaid that if they did not win now they would have to strike again, to they might as well remain out. FURTHER TROUBLES. SIXTY STRIKES SINCE AUGUST. Received 26, 12.45 a.m. London, June 25. At a meeting of railwaymen at Westham a resolution was carried to strike on Wednesday at midnight unless the employers meet the transporters. Mr. Williams, secretary of the Amalgamated Railwaymen, interviewed later, said that if the men struck without the Society's consent, it was at their own risk. The employers have appealed to Mr. McKenna for an adequate force of police or troops to protect the workers from terrorism. Mr. Orbell gave evidence that the Industrial Council advocated money guarantees. Legislation was required to punish employers outside the Employers' Association. They must have a standard wage agreement. Breakers on either side ought to be punished, and even imprisoned. A man working for less than the standard wage should be punished. The secretary of the Carmen's Union stated that there have been "sixty strikes since the August agreement.
