POLITICAL

A MINISTERIAL FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dannevirke, Saturday. The Hon. J. A. Hanan, in an interview with a reporter, expressed con-fid-ence that the Government would survive next' election. The pledges given in the caucus in February would not, he thought, be broken. He did not think that Liberal members would be so simple minded and short-sighted as to vote for the Opposition. The session would not be a legislative one. If an election took place immediately he was confident that the verdict of the people would be in the Government's favor.
