By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. The Wanganui district amateur boxing championships were decided to-day. The following are the results of the final bouts:—Feather-weight. Hodgson beat Christian on points. Light-weights: Bond beat Grotty, decision given in the first round. Welter-weights: Forbes beat Delahunt, ou a knock-out. Middleweight: Crerar .beat Elt, on a knock-out. Hea\ .-weights: Caldwell beat Gladding, the latter withdrawing on the second round. The medal for the most scientific boxer was awarded to Jervois.
