THE REFORM PARTY
A RALLY AT DEVONPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. . The adherents of the Reform Party turned out in force to a rally at Devonport to-night. Those present included Mr- Massey, Mr. F. M. B. Fisher, Mr. Maunder and Mr. Harris. The proceedings were very enthusiastic. Mr. Massey received an ovation. He said that he had no objection, as Mr. Mackenzie seemed to think, to Ministers going ahout the country holding meetings. The more they did so the better lor the Opposition, and as far as he was concerned they "were welcome to do so as much as they liked. A resolution was carried •that the electors of Wai'emata express their appreciation of the splendid and whole-hearted services rendered by Mr. Massey in the highest interest of the State, and its entire confidence in the Reform Party, and a hope that in the coming session it will receive the support of a working majority in the House.
