The American visible wheat supply is 51,912,000 bushels, j WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday some very choice purebred poultry were penned. Prices throughout were decidedly in advance of the previous week as under:—Hens, old Is 6d to Is lOd, young Is lOd to 2s 9d; pullets, young 2s 6d to 2s fid, forward p.b. Brown Leghorns, 4s 6d to 5s 7d; p.b. White Leghorns, 3s to 4s 7d; p.b. Black Orpingtons, 4s to 4s <sd; p.b. English game, 3» 2d to ss; ducks, Is 8d to 2s; drakes, Is fid to 2s fid; p.b. Indian Runner drakes, ss; p.b. Pekin ducks, 3s 3d to 4s 9d; p.b. Indian Runner drakes, ss; cockerels, young Is 4d to Is fid, fat 2s to 3s; p.b. Brown Leghorn cockerels, 9s fid; trio p.b. White Leghorns, 235; pigeons, Is 9d pair. The usual line of shelter shrubs and auction sundries realised satisfactory prices. Furniture.—On Tuesday, on account of Mr. A. T. Wilson, at .his residence in Leech street, we held a clearing sale of nil his house furniture and effects. There was a large attendance of the public, and bidding was spirited throughout, each article offered meeting with keen competition. _ Fruit.—During the week small quantities have come to hand, orangdß and apples being the only lines offering. Prices as under, according to quality and size of cases:—Bananas, ripe, 3d per lb; oranges, repacks, fis (id to 10s; apples, best colored dessert. 7s fid to Ss Od; cookers, 5s fid to 0s fid; passion fruit, 3s to 4s Od; lemons, 13s to 16s; carrots, 4s fid sack; cabbages, 3s sack; pears, dessert 0s to 12s fid, cookers 7s to Os; mandarins, 13s case; pie melons, l'/jd lb.
L. A. NOLAN AND CO.'S REPORT. Poultry.—On Saturday we penned about 200 birds. Prices were firm, with an advance for cockerels. Prices were as follows: Hens, heavy Is 8d lo 2s 1(1, light Is lo Is (id; cockerels, heavy 2s 4d to 3s. others Is to Is 10d; pullets. Is lOd to 2s 9d; roosters, Is to Is 9d; ducks. Is 3d to 2s; hen and chicks, 3s fld. On account of Mr. C. F. Don!ton we sold a innnber of Brown Leghorns, prices realised being: Cockerels. 5s to 0a 6d; pullets, 10s; hens, 3s Gd'to 5s Cd. Fruit.—Apples and oranges are now the chief lines offering. Tin- price for apples is beginning to harden. Oranges have been somewhat slow of sale. We quote:—Apples, Stunners Gs fid to Rs, half cases 3s Gd to 4s, Northern Spy 8s 6d, others 3s to 3s 9d; oramics, repacks, 9s to 9s 6d. On Wednesday we held a furniture sale on account of Mr. A. J.
