It is to be hoped that they will succeed, as a live rifle club means a good range, and that is badly needed, it now being a matter of years since a shot was fired oyer the old range. If anyone who is interested in this matter will get into touch with Mr. T. King, secretary of the Taranaki Rifle Association, it will help matters along considerably. The gymnasium classes are being well attended. The honorary instructors, Messrs Kennedy and Sutherland, are very enthusiastic in the work, and parents would do well to avail themselves of the opportunity of their children—both j boys and girls—being put through a course of physical training.
