Commander Penco, with two pilots, in a dirigible, hovered at a distance of one thousand yards and dropped bombs with great effect among Turkish and Arab tents at Sidi Muffa, near Benghazi. The Turks fired musketry shells without effect. The dirigible dropped other bombs, reconnoitred, took photographs, and brought back a perfect plan of the enemy's position.
