POLICE PROTECTION. Received 18, 10.25 pjn. , London, June 18. The Foreman Lighterman's Society manned a dozen tugs and brought numbers of barges to the Tilbury, Victoria, Surrey and Commercial docks. The police guarded the barges. The Sailors and Firemen's Society has balloted against the strike.
