j GOBED BY A BULL. Bj Telegraph —Press Association. Ohristehurch, Monday. John Ues, aged 73, a farmer at Papanui, was gored by a bull on Friday, and died as a result of his injuries tliis morning. A MYSTERIOUS DEATH. Wanganui, Monday. The body of Mrs. Patrick Keegan, who disappeared from her home in her nightdress on Sunday week, was found in the river this morning. It is supposed to be a case of suicide, as certain of her clothes were found on the bank. Her father-in-law disappeared in a similar way a few weeks previously. A SUDDEN DEATH. Gisborne, Last Night. William Joseph Owen, aged 50 went to town oil Saturday evening and did not return. His wife found him lying dead on the verandah at 3 a.m. Heart disease is believed to be the cause of death. THROAT CUT WITH A PENKNIFE. Duncdin, Last Night. William Ginsberg, a Jewish clothier, fifty years of age, was missed' from his place of business about 11 o'clock this morning, and a search resulted in his body being found in the shop cellar at , half-past eight to-night. His throat was deeply cut, the injuries having been inflicted with a penknife. Deceased, who had been in bad health for some time, leaves a wife and small family.
