HOCKEY.

TATARAIAfAKA v. NEW PLYMOUTH. A team of New Plvmoufch Saturday hockey players travelled to Tataraimaka on Saturday to try conclusions with the local club. Rain seriously interfered with the play, but a close game resulted in a win for New Plymouth by four goab to three. Goals were scored for the visitors by Osborne (2) and H. Sole (2), and for Tataraimaka by Turner (9), Mr, Weller refereed in an efficient manner. After the match the teams wen entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Turner. Jt return match will be played at New Plymouth next Saturday.
