SUMMARY AND FORECAST. t By Telegraph—Press Association. *"' • Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Department published the following summary and forecast at 5 p.m.:—Summary. —The wea.ther las been eloudy and unsettled, with rain in most parts of the Dominion; .moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed northward of \ Farewell Spit, and southerlies elsewhere. The barometer has risen in the south during the night. Forecast.— "Present indications ai'«j for misty and .cloudy weather, with rain in many .parts, but a temporary improvement ', may be expected to-morrow. The barometer will probably fall again shortly in the south and variable winds will then give way to increasing northerlies.
