MR. BUCHANAN ENTERTAINED. By Telegraph —Press Association. Carterton, Wednesday. A very successful complimentary social was tendered at Clareville last night to Mr. W. C. Buchanan, M.P. for Wairarapa. It was attended by a large number, including many old residents. Mr. G. R. Sykes, M.P. for Masterton, was present. Mr. Perry, county chairman, presided. In tiie course of his speech, Mr. Buchanan prophesied the defeat and downfall of the present administration.
