TURNED TOPSY-TURVY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. Some time between Friday and Monday the Ponsonby Public School was entered by way of one of the windows, any turned topsy-turvy. Several of the lockers had been turned out, and much of the teaching outfit was displa«ed. The police were informed, and it is understood that the latter attribute the occurrence to very young vandals. Notmng of value was taken from the school. "HARBOR PIRACY." Auckland, Wednesday. There has been a recurrence of that form of theft known as "harbor piracy." A week ago last Sunday night a raid was made upon four launches moored off St. Mary's Beach, Ponsonby, the cabin doors being burst open and quantities of valuable contents stolen.
