A DIGEST OF BUSINESS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, i.ast Night. The Cabinet has decide.! to increase the \ accommodation for lenrners at the Rnakura Experimental Farm. The erection of new post office buildings at Reefton and Roxburgh has been authorised. A tender has been accepted for the supply of transformers in connection with the Lake Coleridge electric power scheme. The appointment of John Anderson as inspecting working engineer for mental hospitals and ordinary hospitals has been approved. Mr. W. McLennan has been reappointed a member of the Wellington Land Board. The appointment of Dr. J. McNaughton Christie as New Zealsvnd representative at the international congress on gynaecology and obstetrics, in Berlin, in September next, has been approved. Major Stuckev has been appointed Officer in Command of the cadet contingent to visit Canada. The tender of the Dunedin Engineering Company lias been accepted for the supply of pipe line in connection with the Lake Coleridge electric power scheme. The tender of an English firm has been accepted for the supply of a travelling crane in connection with the same I scheme.
