A pastoral expert estimates that five million sheep perished in New South Wales during the drought just ended, and others will probably succumb through weakness, representing a shortage of 190,000 bales of wool of the value of £2,280,000, to which £870,000 has to be added for the loss of lambs. RAIN IN QUEENSLAND. Brisbane, June 12. There has been further heavy rain, and some rivers are in flood. Railway washaways are numerous.
